Refractometers, the Digital Portable NR-151 (Brix and Refractive Index) and NR-101 (Brix, Refractive Index and Salinity)
Overview
The battery operated portable NR-151 and NR-101 refractometers are ideal for measuring concentrations of sugar and the measurement of refractive index in a wide variety of applications including fruit juices, drinks, wine, edible oils other food industry products as well as chemicals, pharmaceuticals, oils, lubricants and many other industrial products.
The NR-101 adds the capability to measure the salinity.
The NR-151 and NR-101 refractometers have a high precision photocell integrated in a CCD camera with a digital image processor. They both feature Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC) to 20 °C with a sample temperature range from 5 to 40 °C
